After attending Northwestern University, Eric’s commercial real estate career in Charleston began in 1982 with The Brumley Company.
Since that time, Eric has developed a reputation as one of the industry leaders particularly in regards to his work within Master Planned Communities and with Seller/Landlord Representation.
Eric prides himself on developing and maintaining long-term relationships with his clients.
In addition to his duties at Meyer Kapp & Associates, Eric also serves as the Chair of Charleston County Planning Commission.

Meyer Kapp & Associates was pleased to represent the Seller and the City of North Charleston in the sale of 450 acres within the Ingleside Master Planned Development for a future Public Park.
This is one of the largest sales of property dedicated for a public use in the history of South Carolina.
The combined acreage of highlands and wetlands makes the Ingleside Weber Park System [actual name TBD] about seven times as large as Charleston’s Hampton Park.
The hope and goal is for the Park to act as the Central Park for the City of North Charleston.
The purchase was spearheaded by the Seller [Weber USA Corporation] and The City of North Charleston in partnership with Charleston County Greenbelt, US Fish & Wildlife, and the SC Conservation Bank.
Upon completion, the park will have trails, boardwalks, and greenways with walking and biking access to mixed-use developments in the area.
Approximately 240 acres of wetlands and cultural resources will be protected in perpetuity.

The Tenant is a locally owned tap room which will offer 18 craft beers on tap, around 20 types of beer in cans, a frosé machine, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverage options.
Community Crafthouse will also serve light food offerings (like pretzels and nachos).
